Painting
To assure invisible repairs to your vehicle, we have a fully equipped paint mixing room with a PPG computerized paint mixing system and digital scale. PPG is the largest paint supplier to most original equipment manufacturers.
The paint mixing room is only one improvement made to the paint department. The addition of a Spraybake downdraft paint booth and preparation station is what makes us able to ensure the highest level of paint repairs in the area.
The paint booth is pressurized to alleviate debris from contaminating your vehicle's finish. It also has color corrective lighting to allow the painter to distinguish color match and to permit invisible finish. The downdraft ventilation system allows better control of applying paint product which can cause concerns with overspray. The finish is baked on to allow a faster drying time. The preparation station allows priming and undercoating to be sprayed within EPA and OSHA guidelines.
Facility Specs
Waters Auto Body & Paint can now expand its services to include repairs and refinishing on larger sized vehicles. Our newly built production area is equipped with fourteen foot doors and the ceilings have all been extended. This allows access for large panel vans, extended trucks, buses and semi-tractors and trailers. It can also accommodate large equipment if needed.
A new Kansas Jack frame rack was added to allow frame straightening on larger and longer sized vehicles that may require extensive frame work. An existing frame machine was moved from the previous location, which helps to keep shop productivity flowing.
EPA and OSHA Compliant
A large concern of collision repair shops and their owners are the impending standards that will soon be applied to our industry. We have taken all necessary precautions to make our business safe for our employees and the community around it by being the first facility in the area to meet all EPA and OSHA standards. The new equipment is able to filter out contaminates from the air and with the latest spray equipment, we use the least amount of product and still achieve quality finishes. As large an undertaking it has been, we feel it is worth being the leaders in our field.
